Originally founded as the Personnel Management Council (PMC), HRC has origins dating back to 1944, making it the longest standing human resources professional organization in the Greater Boston area. The purpose of that organization was to "promote, strengthen and advance the human resources profession." With the new name came an additional focus on promoting the human resources function as an integral strategic partner to the business enterprise.

We have endeavored to accomplish our goals through the following:

Strategic, Topical Presentations:

Strategic and compelling business issues with an HR focus are discussed at regularly scheduled dinner meetings. Breakfast Roundtables designed to share best practices and evaluate key business challenges will be hosted in the Boston region. Please watch HRC's event listings for developing schedule.
